Unless India seek outside help, demons of the mind won't go away so easy. Port Elizabeth too has excessive bounce, and India just lost to Kenya there.

I have very fond memories of Diwali with the firecrackers (not in the ground when we are playing though!), sweets and savouries. My greetings and best wishes to all of you. Happy Diwali. Sadly for Indian cricket supporters, the South Africa tour is not doing any justice to the many past greats of Indian cricket. In fact, it is becoming quite an embarrassment. The odi series was a flop and we all hoped that somehow we would see a more committed bunch of guys taking up the challenge of beating, or at least being competitive in the Tests. It was not to be. Wright got it wrong, Ganguly failed again when the pressure was on him and the tailenders surrendered like lambs to the slaughter. Now don't get me wrong, I'm not for a minute suggesting that everyone was to blame. Sachin Tendulkar played the best Test innings I have ever seen and Sehwag showed great courage for someone in his first Test. Kumble and Srinath gave their all, which is all a man can ask for.
