Karan doesn't do an acting of directing, says the King Khan

"Getting through to Shahrukh is as difficult as trying to reach the Prime Minister," says Karan Johar and then helpfully fixes up our visit to the most celebrated address in Mumbai: Mannat, Land’s End, Bandra. SRK is busy with his long morning regimen of neck massage which gives us enough time to survey his first-floor sea-facing family lounge. We walk past the library and its stained-glass window painted with Om and Allah and climb up to spy on the bar, its huge Pepsi vending machine and the swishy pool table. Brando and Chaplin posters and Filmfare trophies look down on us as we snoop on the gleaming Wurlitzer jukebox and SRK’s personal collection of films dominated by Woody Allen comedies and Friends vhs. Before rushing to shoot at Film City for Farah Khan’s Main Hoon Na, SRK takes time out to speak on his favourite director who also doubles up as the godfather to his children, Aryan and Suhana.
