Clearly, these politicians understand that you make more money in the capital market if you buy undervalued stocks in the sunrise sectors. That probably explains why they’re heavily into software companies (many of them are quoting below purchase prices) and PSU banks (which may not be privatised anymore)

Mayawati, BSP
She doesn’t own shares, but has Rs 9.78 crore in bank accounts, jewellery worth Rs 31 lakh, and owns a house in Inderpuri (Delhi) worth Rs 1.25 crore

Mehbooba Mufti, PDP
Has not declared any movable assets (no bank account even), except jewellery worth Rs 4.5 lakh

Thupstan Chhewang, Independent
Has several assets worth lakhs of rupees in the form of agricultural land, commercial building and jewellery, but doesn’t seem to have faith in the country’s banking system. His two accounts hold a total of just over Rs 300 and his wife’s account has Rs 1,120 only
