India is two ranks down from 82 in 2019 to 84 in 2020 on the list of world’s most powerful passports. Japan ranks first in the Henley Passport Index 2020 for the third consecutive year, followed by Singapore, South Korea, Germany, Italy, Finland and Spain. A Japanese passport allows visa-free access to 191 countries, while Indian passport-­holders can travel to 58 nations without a visa. India shares its rank with Tajikistan and Mauritania.
