How wise is it to release four albums together?
It wouldn't have made sense if all the albums were just my music. But these are a part of a package where we have about 30 artists, including Herbie Hancock among others, performing.

Weren't there any ego clashes?
When there is a composition with a proper structure, such things don't happen ever.

How would you define your music?
My compositions are global music. My focus is on compositions.

But can they create a synergy?
You transcend all barriers and technicalities in music.

Are you now focusing more on global music?
I function at two levels. When I perform in concerts, I am a Carnatic violin player, but as a composer, I do global music.

But can it survive techno music?
Technology helps me in logistics. But the true fans of global music will stick with it.

What are you working on now?
There are some projects with Hancock, Larry Coryell, and the earlier Stephanne Grapelli recordings....
