What brings you to India?
I'm visiting South Asian countries to create awareness about the havoc caused by landmines.

Should landmines be banned completely?
Definitely. My aim is to bring about a new model of diplomacy.

Do you think the world looks at you as Mother Teresa?
I'm no Mother Teresa and neither do I want to be. But I do want to make a difference and make this world a better place to live in.

But why only landmines?
All weapons are dangerous. A gun takes one life at a time, but a landmine takes many.

What is your motto in life?
Feelings without actions are irrelevant.

What prompted you to take up the cause?
After reading the facts about the destruction caused by landmines.

Any problems you faced?
Different governments and militaries conduct themselves differently. The uniqueness of the problems is not the issue. How to deal with it is.

Do you need to be an activist to contribute?
Not at all. Everybody can...
