Are we seeing a new Rashid now? One free from controversy?
The past is forgotten now. It's as if I am beginning my career anew. I have come into the team after 18 months with a new longing. It's as if I am making my debut over again.

What is the brief given by the PCB?
That's very confidential.

Do you think cricket is still a prey to outside influences of the kind that you have spoken against?
Please don't drag me into any fresh controversy. I am a simple man and don't know how to be clever with words. I would rather not comment.

It will be difficult to replace bowlers of the calibre of Wasim and Waqar, specially on the coming South African tour?
We hope that Wasim gets fit quickly and Waqar comes back to form. Our spinners might not get helpful tracks in South Africa. But you see, we are in the process of building a side now. I will also try to adjust Moin Khan at number 6 as a batsman.
