If Size Mattered

Here's how the world would look if a country's size could be adjusted for its ability to perform at the Olympics relative to its population. In fact the map is not as skewed as it ought to be. To fit the countries we picked to prove our point onto a scale that people might comprehend, we had to take the sqaure root of the ratio. So keeping India at size 1 , Bulgaria should be actually be 7,450 times our size, not 86 times, as shown here. Yes it's worse than you think!
