When he accepted the manager’s role for the ICC World Cup 2007, Sanjay Jagdale could not have bargained for India’s early exit. Nor would he have expected his report to become critical to the future of Indian cricket. In the tit-for-tat muck-raking of the past few days, Jagdale’s been one man who stayed quiet, contributing little to the war in the media. He shared a good rapport with Greg Chappell and told Outlook the Aussie had a solid vision for Indian cricket.
