This may just be the beginning of the ‘drinking culture’ Delhi’s famously lacked. The Institute of Bar Operations and Management has taken upon itself to educate people in the art of juggling drinks. Last week, the one-year-old institute won Smirnoff’s Cocktail Grand Prix through the mixing skills of one Manpreet Singh. The colourful mix of vodka, tequila, Blue Curacao, passionfruit and strawberry syrup made for a suggestive One Night in Bangkok and was made in all of three minutes. "Bartending is in great demand," says Singh, who’s tended bars for the Big B, Shahrukh Khan and certain party-throwing "chief justices".
