Damadamm is stuffed with the looniest lyrics of 2011: “Jab tum jaati ho, jaldi nahin aati ho, I miss you baby, like mango”; “No touching, only seeing”; “Hum tum train ki do patriyon ki tarah”; “A love that has chemistry, a love that has no mystery”. These songs don’t add up to anyone’s idea of great music, but Damadamm is nothing more than a series of such music videos. There is an apology of a story. Poor boy Sameer (Himesh) is saddled with a possessive, mistrusting girlfriend Shikha (Purvi). He smoothly switches over to the new pretty young thing in office, Sanjana.
