Delhi’s VHP office has a USP that may turn off a lot of delicate noses. It’s into popularising the holy cow’s less-believable virtues of making holy water and holy (night) soil. The dung and urine products, claims proprietor Sridhar Acharya, can cure ailments ranging from acidity, dandruff and common cold to jaundice, pyrrhoea and even cancer. The tough part is that some of these cures need to be ingested! For doubters, a hand-painted dial stands as proof. It runs on cow urine.
