Bombay Dreams may be staged in India soon. Will you be in it?
I don't think so. On Broadway, it cost $14 million to produce. Without that kind of scale, I'm not sure the show will be as much fun to do.
Did you enjoy the singing-dancing routines?
I absolutely loved it. I trained as a dancer in a ballet class which gave me some confidence.
Why was Bombay more successful in London than New York?
Box office-wise, it was equally successful in both cities. The London show longer because Broadway is a very tough market.
Can you do a Bollywood film now?
I would do any genre of film that has a good script. There are some very interesting new films.
You acted in Meera Siyal's Life Isn't All Ha Ha Hee Hee. It's a highly acclaimed show.
It hasn't come on TV yet, but we are quietly confident it will do well.
