THE age of air conditioned academics has arrived. Check this out: centrally air conditioned classrooms, avant garde furnishings, an amphitheatre with laser disc and a 52-inch screen entertainment system, a swimming pool, a gymnasium, an elaborately equipped music chamber, made-to-order New Zealand wool carpet in the yoga room, a state-of-the-art cafeteria, plush buses with guards sporting wireless sets, thoroughbred horses, CD ROMs and colour printer.
